I offer Art Psychotherapy for individuals, groups and couples, working with adults, children and young people.

When you choose to come into Art Psychotherapy (also known as Art Therapy), we can discuss the different provisions that I offer to suit your needs.  You may wish to work one-to-one with me or alongside a partner(s) or family member(s), including your child(ren).  I also work independently with children and young people, if they would benefit and consent to being in Art Psychotherapy.

My therapeutic practice is underpinned and framed by psychodynamic psychotherapy, which essentially regards people’s past experiences as influencing their present sense of self and their relationships to others.  I also understand that where each of us is different we have different needs from a therapeutic relationship and, as such, I integrate other ways of supporting people into my practice.  This means I draw on theory from psychoanalysis, humanistic and Jungian psychologies, existential and negative philosophies, psychosexual therapy, somatic and body therapies, neuroscience, sensori-motor therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to psychotherapy.

If you would like to explore how I might be able to support you, someone you care about, or if you would like to find out more about Art Psychotherapy, please get in touch.
