The Wisdom of Nettles

What might we gain if we accept the sting of nettle, rather than avoid it? And what might this teach us about learning to sit with grief?

This immersive, land-based workshop invites you to create your own hand-crafted book bound with nettle and painted with hand-made nettle ink. Working alongside the plant, you’ll explore how nature and creativity can be powerful tools for wellbeing and expressing difficult feelings.

Guided by both myself and Dance Movement Psychotherapist Linsey Clark in a beautiful setting, you can work at your own pace and without pressure, learning about nettle’s uses and symbolism. You’ll take home your artwork, an information sheet and a goodie bags.

Suitable for all ages, with no experience required. Materials and refreshments will be provided.

This workshop is being held at The Homeland Project
